What is a Reference Number?
A reference number (also called Consumer Number or Account Number) is a unique identifier printed on your utility bill. It's typically 14 digits long and may be displayed with dashes or spaces. This number is required to check your bill online on CheckBill.pk.
Where to Find Reference Number on Electricity Bills
For electricity providers like IESCO, LESCO, MEPCO, and K-Electric, the reference number is usually located:
- At the top of the bill, near your name and address
- Labelled as "Reference No", "Consumer No", or "Account No"
- Often in a box or highlighted section
Where to Find Reference Number on Gas Bills
For gas providers like SNGPL and SSGC, the reference number is typically:
- Printed at the top of the bill
- Next to your consumer name
- May be called "Consumer Number" or "Reference Number"
